I spent last Sunday enjoying the gorgeous weather Nottingham was having in the arboretum with Sophie and her mum Lisa. Sophie was a natural in front of the camera, and was happy to make daisy chains and play in the sun whilst I snapped away.

During our session we were photobombed by some very brave squirrels, I think Sophie is an animal whisperer they were creeping up closer and closer to her like she was an old friend. They have no fear at all!

Below are some of my favourite shots from the session, I hope you like them!

A little tip:

The arboretum is a great place for an afternoon out, not only are there tonnes of squirrels but they have an aviary as well as a duck pound. Take a picnic though as there isn't a cafe or any shops to grab a bite to eat or a drink. Make the most of your surroundings and dine al fresco if the weather allows you won't regret it. 🙂
