A look back at 2017..

Firstly how is this year over already? I'm sure I blinked and missed half of it, It raced by quicker than I could have ever imagined.

I've had a wicked time this year, I've loved every minute of it, and I've accomplished some things I never thought possible. Being awarded a bronze award by the guild of photographers was a personal highlight, and training with Nina Mace was fantastic, not only did I learn a tonne but I made some new friends too.

I've travelled around a bit too with visits to Rome, Atlanta, Paris and London. My Inner Disnerd fell in love with Disney all over again when I saw sleeping beauty's castle. I'm looking forward to visiting again next year as I think I've found my new happy place, I honestly went back to being a child all over again it was ace!

On a personal level, it was an extremely exciting year as my best friend got married, being able to capture her day for her was amazing and made me fall in love with my job even more. I got to wear an awesome dress which gave me a new love for vintage everything, Natalie I blame you for all the money I'm going to spend next year on pretty clothes.

The Bronze

I still remember the feeling I got when I found out I'd won this beauty, It was an amazing moment with much happy dancing, I've still got jaw ache from smiling so much that day it literally made my year. Bronzes with the guild are very hard to achieve and to know I've done it just makes me want to fist pump the air and shake my booty around like no ones watching.

The Travel

Nothing makes me happier than exploring a new place, trying new foods and snapping lots and lots of photographs.

My travel companions make each and every trip memorable, we know how to find good coffee, shop till we drop and plan dinner as we are eating breakfast no matter where we are in the world.

If you're thinking about travelling but keep putting it off... Staaaph it right now and go book something to look forward to for the next year.

I'll be sharing more of my travels next year along with some great hints and tips. So if you're undecided about where you want to go keep checking back hopefully I can inspire you!

I'm so happy I got to take the pictures on Natalie and Daniels wedding day. Being bridesmaid and photographer really put my multi-tasking skills to the test, but everything worked out brilliantly.

Natalie was a beautiful bride and Bargy made the day really entertaining, I've never had a groom stick his tongue out at me during a service before, that was a first!

Thank you both for allowing me to play such a big part in your day I loved every minute.

Other Favourite Moments

One last little note

Lastly, I'd like to wish you all a very happy new year. I hope 2018 brings you all everything you wish for and more and includes a lot of booty shaking happy dance moments.
